Meeting Rooms and Capacity

Point of View (POV) is intentionally designed as a right‑sized venue for meetings, trainings, retreats, and small gatherings. This page outlines our available meeting rooms, seating capacities, and planning considerations to help groups determine whether POV is a good fit for their event before moving into detailed planning.

Overview of Available Spaces

POV offers a small collection of flexible indoor meeting spaces supported by scenic outdoor areas. The venue includes one primary conference room, two breakout conference rooms, and several smaller supporting spaces that work well for small groups, meals, and informal discussion. Together, these spaces support focused, professional gatherings without the scale or complexity of a large conference center.

Main Conference Room

Key features and capacity include:

  • Seating for up to 60 people, depending on layout
  • Suitable for presentations, briefings, workshops, and facilitated sessions
  • Flexible configurations for classroom‑style, board‑style, or theater seating
  • Integrated audio/visual support for in‑person and hybrid meetings

This room works best for groups that value focus, natural light, and a professional setting without the distractions of a hotel ballroom or large conference hall.

Breakout and Supporting Rooms

In addition to the main conference room, POV offers several smaller spaces that support breakout sessions, small‑group work, and meals.

These spaces include:

  • Two breakout conference rooms, each seating up to 20 people, ideal for workshops, planning sessions, and facilitated dialogue
  • A small dining room that seats up to 10 people, well suited for working meals or private discussions
  • A library and lobby areas, each best suited for small working groups of approximately 10 people, informal meetings, or meal service

These rooms are often used in combination with the main conference room to support multi‑session agendas, leadership retreats, trainings, and dialogue‑based programming.

Dining and Reception Capacity

POV can accommodate seated meals and receptions for right‑sized groups using a combination of indoor spaces.

Dining capacity considerations include:

  • The main conference room can seat approximately 50 people for a seated dinner
  • The small dining room seats up to 10 people and works well for working meals or private dining
  • An additional 15 guests may be accommodated across the two breakout conference rooms
  • Total seated dinner capacity across the venue is typically up to about 80 guests, depending on layout and service needs

Dining events work best when planned alongside meetings, retreats, or ceremonies and are not intended for large‑scale banquet or reception formats.

Outdoor Areas and Use Considerations

POV’s wooded waterfront setting and proximity to Belmont Bay provide appealing outdoor areas that complement indoor meetings and gatherings.

Outdoor spaces are commonly used for:

  • arrival and informal gathering
  • breaks between sessions
  • ceremonies and brief outdoor components
  • receptions paired with indoor programming

While the outdoor areas are scenic and expansive, staffing and parking considerations make POV best suited for outdoor use as part of a thoughtfully planned, right‑sized event rather than very large outdoor gatherings.

Parking and Arrival Logistics

Planning for arrival and parking is an important consideration when hosting events at POV.

Key logistics include:

  • Parking is available for approximately 50 vehicles on site
  • Shuttle coordination can be arranged for groups using nearby hotels
  • Several hotels are located within a short drive of the venue

These factors make POV a strong fit for small to mid‑sized groups planning meetings, trainings, and retreats with predictable arrival needs.

Right‑Fit Event Guidance

POV is intentionally designed for events that value focus, connection, and manageable scale.

POV is best suited for:

  • meetings, trainings, and workshops
  • leadership retreats and planning sessions
  • facilitated dialogue and conflict resolution programming
  • ceremonies and gatherings paired with meetings
  • small conferences and right‑sized social events

POV is not designed for:

  • large weddings or high‑volume receptions
  • trade shows or exhibition‑style events
  • very large outdoor gatherings requiring extensive staffing

This right‑fit approach helps ensure a positive experience for both hosts and guests.
